Meet Dr. Fredrick R. Lewcock

Dr. Fredrick R. Lewcock

DDS, FAGD, MICOI

I’m Dr. Fredrick R. Lewcock of Old Settlers Dental. One of my greatest pleasures in life is seeing the transformations that occur in my patients after their treatments. Seeing someone smile with confidence and pride after improving his or her dental health is always a rewarding experience and it never stops being so. I am passionate about creating beautiful smiles and educating my patients on how to maintain their oral health. I love the variety of personalities I get to interact with on a daily basis. We have so many wonderful, friendly patients here at our office, all of whom are so thankful for the services we provide, that it makes it a joy to come to work every day.

Education

I started my dental education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where I earned my Bachelor of Science degree. From there I earned my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from NYU and completed a residency at Peninsula Hospital Center in Queens, NY. My residency focused on advanced treatment in oral surgery, prosthodontics, and endodontics.
I continue to expand my knowledge through the Seattle Study Club. Here, we believe in cultivating excellence so that we can provide the highest standard of care for our patients. Ongoing continuing education in dental implants, cosmetics, prosthodontics, and orthodontics helps me keep up with the current trends so that I can offer leading-edge treatment at all times. I am a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD) and a Master of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (MICOI). I am also a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the Academy of GP Orthodontics

Something Personal

Practicing for nearly 20 years has given me a broad perspective on the art and science of dentistry. Along with education and skill, I think one of the most important ingredients in good dentistry is having compassion. I truly care about each individual I treat and cherish the personal relationships I have cultivated with my patients as we share time in the office.

A native of Milwaukee, WI, I moved to Austin, TX, in 2005. When I’m not working or spending time with my young daughter, I enjoy playing volleyball, mountain biking, snowboarding, traveling, and being active in the community.

My practice philosophy centers on being open and honest while providing a gentle touch and appreciation for excellence. I believe that these qualities are what makes my patients feel instantly at ease whenever they’re in our office. If you are looking for a new Dentist in the Round Rock TX area, please consider Old Settlers Dental, my colleagues and I would love to meet you.
